By the time everyone gathered for their daily trip, the time spent getting the coffee and the walk back to the office, work didn’t begin until 10A.M. Our company makes money by billing our clients on an hourly basis. The average billing rate is $200/hour. If you take 20 employees x 1 hour a day x $200/hour x 5 days a week x 52 weeks = 1 million 40 thousand potential billing $$$ lost per year ($1,040,000) !! Now we have our wonderful Espresso machine (AROMA 5500)! It makes 12 different drinks, employees are saving $4.00 a day and everyone thinks it is a new “perk” that we have added to the office. A little over 3 months ago, I was going to have our coffee machine taken from our business due to lack of servicing and communication.
